This 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a drifting beast!!!
This 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo makes drifting look easy! This model was featured in one of the Fast and Furious movies, Tokyo Drift, and there’s a good reason for it. These babies are fast! And here we have a video that was taken at the Sonoma Drift, an event held Wednesday nights at the Sonoma Raceway, California.
In the video we can see how the devilish black 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is drifting around the track. The rims are big enough to make the car look amazing, and aggressive. The smoke from the tires is everywhere, raised by the invincible power of this car’s engine. This Chevrolet is tuned and we still don’t know the exact engine type, but we can throw an eye on the engine and specifications of the stock model. This beast holds a 5.7 L engine with 245 horsepower and 350 lb–ft of torque. It has a manual gearbox containing 3 speeds, although this particular one is an automatic. Check out the video and enjoy!
