VW beetle powered by an airplane engine- The right way to blend!

This Bugly rat rod is sure something that you can’t miss. This VW beetle was built by ITW hotrods for the 2014 rat rod magazine build off. If you’re not familiar with it we’re bound to tell you that the competitors are supposed to build the baddest rat rod in only 30 days for under $3,000 If they want to be part of the fun. In the competition, this was the only VW so, yes, it is freakin’ cool.

This 1964 Beetle has a 1936 Chevy body and a 1958 TSU 470 Continental airplane motor out of Cesna. Now, that’s what we call a wicked mix! Bugly is nothing short of amazing- the creativity and the work put into in only 30 days has definitely paid off. This rat rod is quite impressive and cool as hell so, make sure you check it out!
